Testing and Inspecting
As a leading manufacturer of parquet flooring, Panaget carries out extensive research in its laboratory. Innovation, research and an environmentally friendly approach form the basis of the company’s corporate strategy, and the company aims to develop high-quality, environmentally friendly products using water-based finishes and certified wood. Our flooring undergoes a series of tests before launch (humidity measurements, shock and finish adhesion testing, tests on household products, etc.). All tests are reviewed to ensure we can provide top-quality parquet flooring.
In addition, Panaget develops its own tests based on everyday life scenarios (different types of stains, repetitive cleaning, etc.), in order to provide impeccable engineered wood flooring that meets its customers’ expectations. Over time, the company has performed well and built up a strong competitive edge, and is keen to maintain this.
The quality of parquet flooring depends on:
- The raw material: this needs to meet regulations on resistance, use class and humidity level.
Manufacturing process: a combination of new machinery and qualified employees are used.
The finish: this is the first material that is subject to usage or environmental influences; therefore it must be strong, durable, efficient and aesthetically pleasing. In addition, natural oils or varnish in the aqueous phase should be used to limit the VOC emissions.
The three most significant tests carried out on the flooring are given below. They mainly concern the finish (the only barrier against external influences).
Test of the drop Adherence test Abrasion test
Meanwhile, other tests, such as those on VOC emissions, are carried out by external laboratories.
